Who should attend HIDC?

Professionals supporting students entering or attending post-secondary education, including psychologists, accessibility advisors, and other stakeholders supporting secondary and post-secondary students with disabilities.

Feel free to email hidc@queensu.ca with any questions or inquiries.

To ensure your time at HIDC is comfortable and convenient, consider staying at our conference venue, the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre. Book your accommodation at the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport and Conference Centre.

Hotel accommodation at the conference venue is fully booked for the conference rate, so we have reserved a block of rooms at the nearby Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East. Rooms can be booked at a special conference rate at the following link.  Book your special rate accommodation at the Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East here.

Conveniently located in Toronto, near the Pearson International Airport, there is plenty to do and places to eat near the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre.

HOTEL GUESTS: Parking passes (with in and out  access) will be provided on check-in at the discounted rate of $16/day and billed to your account. You will need to have this pass with you when you exit the parking lot. Please note: Upon initial entry into the parking lot you will receive a ticket that indicates it must be kept in order to exit the lot. You should use your hotel-provided parking pass, rather than this ticket, to exit the parking lot. If you use the machine-issued ticket, you will not be able to leave the lot unless the ticket is paid for (full price, without conference discount).

LOCAL ATTENDEES: For those not staying in the hotel, you can exchange your machine-issued ticket at the HIDC conference registration desk for a reduced rate ticket ($16/day). There is no in and out access for attendees not staying in the hotel. If you need to leave and return on the same day, you will need to pay twice. Pay at the kiosks at each hotel exit before going to the parking lot.
